JYC 2010

I did Journal Your Christmas last year, for the first time, sorta. I only made it a few days. This year, I'm reusing the album I had made for that, and will either rework the pages that I did, in some fashion or just scrap them. I will need to just switch out the "09" for "10".

Weekend creating

I managed some time to create this weekend. Here's some highlights.

My husband & I in 2000 at a wedding, and in 2010 on our anniversary - 10 years and 1 month apart.

My little boy is growing up so quickly!

A rare photo of me with the kids :P

My beautiful little babies - around 5 month s old

Christmas Cards....

almost done - I have the envelopes address. The elements cut out,. most are attached but I ran out of ribbon and so I need to go and get the hopefully same ribbon (or redo the parts I did already on some of the cards) and coax my husband into taking a family photo. I don't know why the man has no interest in preserving our life today :P It's crazy that we could be compatible.

I made homemade cinnamon raisin bread the other day, mmmm, good!

I've also been getting some scrapping done, which is surprising given most is packed up. I've been forced to do it with limited supplies or in my Family Room watching TV with just a few things, but I surprise myself by getting more and more done. Just last night I did the foundation work for 11 layouts!

Here are a few I'd done previously.

I might catch up someday (not!) to the kids.

My husband and I celebrated 13 years of marriage! Woot, Woot!

and Evelyn helped me make Halloween cookies - I think James wouldn't listen and didn't get to help as much :(

I am going to start work on my Journal Your Christmas this week. I'm excited and hopeful to finish it. I got it last year, the class, and never finished my book. So I am going to reuse the ablum and just start over with the inner workings, I didn't get far anyhow. - I took photos but  never scrapped them.

I had started on sock monkeys for the kids, but my sewing machine seized up and I haven't been able to get said monkey out of said sewing machine :(

And now, my munchkins are awake, ttyl!

Wedding

My cousin recently got married, my kids were in the wedding as the flower girl & ring bearer. I was the photographer and made the bride & Grooms cake.

Here are two my favorite shots of the bride & groom and one of the cake.

It was a really lovely day and I couldn't be happier for my cousin, Kristin and her new husband Bill. May they have many years of happiness!

I have a few projects in the works to post very soon. Right now, I'm working on some cards for World Cardmaking Day.
